I offer a free consultation. Each session is under half an hour long. We can meet in person, talk on the phone or connect online. We can discuss the benefits of acupuncture and treatment planning.
What should I expect from my first session?
For the first session we allow 90 minutes. During this time we discuss you needs and requirements. This session also includes your first treatment.
What should I wear?
If you are visiting me for the first time it may be difficult to know what to expect and what to wear.
Please dress in comfortable clothes. I also recommend loose fitting clothes. It is ideal if access to both the arms and legs is easy, so anything that can roll above the elbows and knees. I also recommend a loose waistband. I may need to pull your top up to uncover your abdomen, or lower the waistband of your trousers.
If you are unable to wear loose clothes you can always bring something to change into. If you are required to or would prefer to remove items of clothing you will have the privacy to do so and blankets and towels will be provided at all times.
During treatments I want you to feel comfortable, relaxed and most importantly safe.
Jewellery and piercings do not need to be removed. During the treatment it is best to remove your watch or any large bracelets.
If you are coming for Facial Acupuncture we recommend not wearing make-up for this treatment, if you are unable to remove makeup before your appointment it will be removed as part of your treatment.
